How To Find The Best Home-Based Internet Business Ideas
It's true that there's a lot of money to be made online. At the same time, there are a lot of unscrupulous people selling scam business opportunities by hyping up, you guessed it, how much money you can make online.
So, how do you sort through which ideas are 'too good to be true' and which ones are worth pursuing, when even the legitimate biz opps sometimes rely on hype?
The answer is: you need to get clear on which criteria truly matter when it comes to the feasibility of any online money-making system. The list of questions below will help you evaluate your options effectively.
1. Does this business serve a real market?
2. Is the market highly targeted?
3. Will I sell/promote products that are truly in demand?
4. Is there a clear system of traffic generation?
5. Is there a clear system of lead generation and follow up?
6. How much power do I have over the way the business is run?
7. How much support is provided if I need help or have questions?
8. When, where and how will I get paid?
9. How will the products be delivered?
10. Does this really let me be my own boss and make the executive decisions?
If your answer is “no” or “I don't know” to any of the above questions, be very cautious. While there's still a chance you might be looking at legitimate opportunity, there's also a good chance you're looking at a scheme that isn't going to work for you.
Real Internet businesses follow the fundamental rules of marketing, have a clear sales system in place and allow you to grow your business based on your own judgment!

An Income-Building Affiliate Marketing Plan
In order to generate real wealth as an affiliate, you must implement an income-building affiliate marketing plan that focuses on the long-term.
There are three key areas one needs to examine in this regard:
1. Leverage
2. Recurring income
3. Duplication
Leverage
The first step in building income is always in making proper use of the power of leverage. Investing your time and money wisely can help improve your existing business, and potentially double or triple your current income.
For example, maybe you’ve always wanted to create a high-ticket ‘follow up’ product to offer to your list of existing customers because you can’t find any comparable affiliate programs for such a product in your market?
If you’ll leverage your existing profits, you can hire someone to create such a product for you, along with all of the products images and web site graphics you’ll need to set up your very own merchant site.
What this will do is give you a new potential stream of income. You continue to make commissions on the existing affiliate product, while also generating sales where you get to keep 100% of the profit.
Likewise, if you don’t want to sell the product, you can use it as “bonus bait” for your existing affiliate promotions!
Recurring Income
Recurring or ‘passive’ income is something you should consider adding to your long-term affiliate business strategy. Why is this a good income stream to add to your mix?
Essentially, recurring income is ‘easy money.’ You do ‘x’ amount of work just once to convert the customer, yet continue to earn a commission on that customer month after month.
Ideal sources of recurring income include subscription services and membership sites.
Duplication
Duplication is really about creating multiple streams of income by recreating your affiliate business model into new markets.
Let’s say you’ve developed a marketing system that is working like gangbuster for you already in one market. Why not set up a similar system in a new market? You’ve perfect your sales process, so it is really just a matter of replicating the structure of that existing business.
For example, if your unique spin is to write affiliate reviews of “cheap, but effective weight loss products,” for the weight loss market, you can replicate that approach by doing affiliate reviews of “cheap, but high quality digital cameras” or something along those lines.
Each of these approaches will help you, in a sense, “diversity your portfolio” of income-generating businesses. Leverage, recurring income and duplication are key to any affiliate marketing plan, so start putting them into action today!

It Is Possible To Run A Home Business And Work At The Office
Many people ask themselves if it is really possible to run a home business and still continue to work at their office job. The answer is yes. This may surprise some people. How do you have the time? That’s too much to do at one time. How can you manage?
All of these comments and questions are involved in juggling home business and an outside job, but the key is that it that you are capable. Here are three main things you want to keep in mind in order to have it all.
1:Drive!
The want or desire to have a home business is what really matters. If you want to keep your current job as well as begin your own home business you truly have to be focused on being able to do so. Without a strong want that will drive you to do what is necessary you will lead yourself to failure. If you believe that you are ready to commit to both jobs, and do whatever is necessary to maintain both than you are taking your first step in the right direction.
2:Time!
You aren’t just given a pocket full of time. Everything in this day and age is about rushing and stretching what time we have. This is still very true with juggling outside work and a home business. You have to be willing to make time. What this means is you must be willing to use whatever free time you have from your office job and apply it to your home business. Weekends, evenings as well as holidays can be spent working on your home business. As long as you are applying the time you have to your home business, you can work both. It all goes back to having the drive to do what is necessary to have what you want.
3:Patience!
This is something we all need more of. You will need to build patience when running both your home business and outside work. You will indeed be frustrated at times, waiting for packages or updates on business progress. You will be frustrated with customer or clients from both jobs. By building patience and also some understanding you will help ease some of the stress that comes from working both jobs.
Drive, Time and Patience all go in hand when working a home business and outside office work. You have to be efficient with your time and manage it wisely. Keep focused on your goal. Don’t lose track. Be patient, because success does not happen overnight and unfortunately not everyone you will encounter in your job is patient or understanding. As long as you make the effort, you can in fact run a home business and work in the office to.

Multi-Level-Marketing Know How
Have you ever wondered what it takes to succeed in multi-level marketing? Maybe you've tried to work a few programs before, and it just wasn't as easy as it sounded in the beginning?
Its not your fault!
All you've been missing is the right kind of multi-level marketing “know how.” You just need someone to show you how to find profitable opportunities, rapidly build a large downline in each of them and set the whole thing on autopilot.
Step One: Find a Profitable MLM
Multi-level marketing is like any other kind of marketing: you need to find a niche! Forget the over-saturated, seen-it-before markets. There is way more to MLM than selling things like vitamins, colloidal silver, e-mail safelists, etc..
The truly great opportunities, ones where the companies are selling products people really want and need, are not advertised like the flavor of the month. Instead, you've got to do your own digging.
The best place to start is on-line by using an MLM directory, such as the MLM & Direct Sales Directory located at: http://mlmdirectory.nmbj.com/ You can find niche opportunities there for everything from art to fashion to insurance.
Think about your own hobbies or personal interests, and try to locate an opportunity that falls in line with them. You'll go much farther, much faster, when you're working a niche you feel passionate about.
Step Two: Learn How to Generate Leads the Easy Way
Cold-calling and door-to-door sales are a thing of the past when you learn how to generate leads via the Internet.
It doesn't matter whether the company you represent processes orders on-line, over the phone or even by old-fashioned mail-in order forms. Your potential customers, as well as your potential new downline members, can all be found on the Internet.
Therefore, you need to set up a web site dedicated to capturing leads. In other words, you need to get people's names and e-mail addresses onto your own mailing list.
Once you do this, you can follow up with all of your leads at will. You can introduce the products and the opportunity at your own pace, taking your time to educate your prospects as thoroughly as possible.
Your credibility, as well as your ability to convert leads, is greatly enhanced when you are able to provide quality information. You accomplish this effortlessly when you have your very own opt-in list of targeted leads.
Step Three: Automate and Duplicate Your Efforts
You'll make the big bucks when you know how to use the concept of 'leverage' to your advantage. You must learn how to leverage your time and money to achieve greater and greater results.
True leverage means earning more while working less, and there are two concepts you must grasp in order to make this dream a reality: Automation and Duplication.
Automation means creating a system where the majority of your marketing tasks take care of themselves.
Again, the Internet will come to your rescue. Put in just a little bit of work upfront, and you can have advertisements that drive visitors to your site automatically, where they can opt-on to your list at the push of a button.
After that, your e-mail 'autoresponder' sends out a series of promotional messages that you've written and loaded up in advance. You don't even have to be at your computer! Your sales message will get to your prospect whether its 9am or 9pm. Meanwhile, you get to go out to a movie or spend more time with family.
Now, let's talk about duplication. Duplication means you take an already winning system, and repeat the set up on a new opportunity.
For example, let's say you've got the profits rolling in from MLM #1 by using the power of Internet automation. You can now move on to set up the same type of system for MLM #2. Maybe you want to move into a different niche or take part in a residual income opportunity?
No problem. Just duplicate your winning model over and over for each one. Eventually you'll see the cumulative effect this has on your income.
Step Four: Keep Adding to Your MLM Know How
Long term success depends on you taking your business seriously. Growth in any business is directly proportional to the growth in knowledge of the business owner. Stay on top of the latest trends and news in your industry.
Read. Learn. Take risks.
Your 'know how' will soar, and you'll be able to turn any multi-level opportunity into a resounding success!

You maybe looking at marketing a product or good and trying to decide on what kind of marketing you should proceed with. You have seen direct marketing and maybe wondering if it is worth the all its cracked up to be. Let us take a look at direct marketing to help you decide.
What is direct marketing?
Direct marketing simply put is marketing that delivers a promotional message directly to potential customers on an individual basis. There are many benefits to direct marketing a few of which are; providing targeted information to a demographically targeted audience, easily measure the amount of marketing you pay for and who it reaches.
By targeting a specific group of people your marketing dollar is spent wisely. You are not wasting money on marketing to people who have no desire in your products. There are also disadvantages to direct marketing and they are not always something you think about when considering marketing your product or goods. One of the main down falls to direct market mailings is that people often consider it to be junk mail; junk mail is often thrown away never read meaning that your money was wasted in your efforts to gain business. Your direct mail is competing with dozens of other companies who are using the same kinds of marketing as you are. Every business can increase their profit and make more sales by marketing. The key is to find a way to market as relatively inexpensively as possible. Your success will depend on the method of marketing you use and in the way you present your information about your company. With direct marketing you will want to define your target group. This is the group of people you want to target mail to. This can help you to directly target groups that will be interested in items you want to sell.
Direct marketing can either be good for your company or bad for your company. It will greatly depend on you. Your marketing strategy and what kind of research you put into it before you go about your marketing.

Internet Marketing At Its Best
With the continued growth of the computer age, there is a whole new way of marketing a business. Especially for businesses who perform most of their transactions online. When reaching for online customers, internet marketing becomes the main target for your marketing efforts as it will attract the customers in your demographic – online users.
There are two distinct styles for online marketing, one is business marketing, the other is website marketing. With web site marketing the goal is to have people searching for particular services or products find your web site while conducting an online search through the major search engines. There are many facets involved in web site marketing and once a business is able to get them all clicking together, there is a good chance they will experience a major influx of new visitors to their web site.
One the other side are businesses that heavily promote their availability aimed at the internet users more so than the search engines. Buying internet advertisements, sending out emails and other promotional marketing materials that are designed to bring visitors to their online web sites, are just a few of the online marketing strategies being used today.
One of the things to remember with online marketing is to consider your home page as a billboard along the side of the road. If there is little traffic along the road, there will be few people who will see your billboard so your efforts should be focused on getting people on the right road. Looking at it from another perspective, there may be over a thousand people selling a certain brand of personal care items and they all have a web site, many provided free when they signed up and they all look alike and have the same enhancements.
If a person searches for the brand by name, there is no telling whose web site is going to pop up in the search results. If you own one of these thousands of sites, specific marketing will need to be done to guide that potential traffic to the site you own. To do this you can use pay-per-click advertising that you pay for based on the number of visitors who click through to your site.
Affiliate marketing is also a popular method of bringing visitors to your site. As a business, you agree to pay a certain percentage or dollar amount of a sale to another site, an affiliate, who drives the traffic to you. Essentially, you are gaining free advertising and only pay for it if your site makes a sale. While some link exchange programs have been successful in the past, having thousands of unrelated links to your site may turn search engines against you and lose your information from their engines and as a result from their results pages.

Three Things NEVER To Do In Business
There are some things you should never do in business if you want to succeed. If you are already a successful business you are well aware of this. If you are a new business entrepreneur than these three tips may be very helpful to you.
The first thing you NEVER want to do is to skimp on advertising. Without proper advertising your business will chance taking a big loss in services or product sales. An example of this is a small business that puts out children’s audio CD’s is introducing a new product. The business is new and practically unknown. They do have a website, and a small advertisement in the local newspaper. Only a small area is going to be aware of this company and it’s CD. A better form of advertisement would have been advertising in several, larger newspapers. Having a billboard advertisement that can be seen in a heavily trafficked area. These may cost more, but you will reach a larger customer base. Without reaching customers, you fail.
Secondly, NEVER let your guard down with your business competition. If your business has a competitive market you want to definitely consider this. An example of this is a video store. You would want to be aware of what the other store offers. Is there a large selection? What are their prices per video per day? Do they offer any specials or discounts? You would want to keep up on both the smaller video stores as well as the larger video store chains in your area. You want to either match what is offered or offer a slightly lower fee. Customers love to save money, even a few dollars and cents.
Lastly, NEVER jump into a business without doing thorough research. You want to be sure you know all of the details about the business you are involved in. You want to know financial details as well as information about your competition. When you take the time to research a specific business you insure success for yourself. You wouldn’t want any surprises popping up when it comes to your business. You want to be able to set yourself up so that your business operates as smoothly as possible.
If you make an effort to follow the above guidelines on what NEVER to do in business then you are on the right track. You create a solid base for business success. Be sure not to jump into any business decisions without research and well thought out planning. Care for your business like you would your children. Give it what it needs to grow and you will be pleased with the end result. Be sure you follow the do’s and NEVER the don’ts and see your business soar.

Budgeting Your Money When You Own A Business
One of the most difficult things to do when you start a new business is putting together a budget. Without any financial history on which to base income and expenses, it may seem like guesswork, but as part of any business plan a tentative budget can be established with some thought and anticipation for the future.
In most businesses there are two main categories, income and expense. Under your expense category there can be several sub-categories often falling into two main areas of controllable expenses and uncontrollable. While many business owner claim they can control every expense involved in their business, they are simply kidding themselves as some things such as utility cost, the amount of rent and other so-called fixed costs can, and do change, with the owner having no control.
Other expenses such as payroll, insurance and advertising can be subject to a budget, but they are considered controllable expenses. If the business begins to fall off, you can control some of these expenses by laying off employees and cutting back on advertising. However, living by a budget will help maintain profitability in many respects but can also turn against you in the long run.
Depending on the viability of your business it often is a better investment to bite the financial bullet on employee wages and still provide good customer service to the remaining customers until business picks back up. By trying to everything yourself not only will you burn out quickly, but is no one is taking care of the customers, it will not take long until there are no more customers to care for.
There are two ways to budget your business money and that is through set dollar amounts and percentage of income. Many businesses will budget their controllable expenses by the dollar and non-controllable by percentage of income. Obviously a good part of the owner’s time is going to be based on bringing money into the business and how much they have to spend on controllable expenses will be in direct relation to income.
For example, a company earning $20,000 a month in income has budgeted six percent for payroll, providing $1,200 for payroll. If the income level rises to $50,000 the budgeted payroll percent does not change but the dollars available for payroll climbs to $3,000. With an obvious increase in business to create the additional income, the owner will probably need the extra help to take care of business.
There are many other expenses that fall into the payroll account such as worker’s compensation charges, Social Security tax paid by the employer and paid vacation time or other perks determined by the employer. While a budget may be difficult to establish for a new business, it is a necessary evil for all business owners.

3 Things All Affiliate Marketers Need To Survive Online
Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck. Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.
There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.
What are these three tactics?
1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.
Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.
You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.
2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.
Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.
Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.
3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.
Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.
Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.
The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.
Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do.
Besides, think of the huge paychecks you will be receiving…

Make the Leap to Affiliate Marketing Success
Copyright © Stone Evans, The Home Biz Guy
http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-12093
If you are going to become a successful affiliate on the
Internet, you need 3 "intangibles." These are things that
must come from WITHIN you.
===> Intangible 1 <===
First, you must have a strong WHY. Why must you make affiliate marketing work? What is driving you? What is it that you CAN'T have in your life anymore and/or what is it that you absolutely MUST HAVE now? For me, I couldn't stand working 12+ hours a day anymore and missing the experience of my children growing up. I also absolutely HAD TO HAVE the freedom of being able to control my life and finances through a little box that I could carry with me anywhere in the world and not be tied to anyone's time pressures or demands but my own. That was my carrot and my stick. I felt a great pain deep in my gut of missing out on my children's lives and the incredible freedom that succeeding in this business would provide for me. I found my why. You MUST find yours.
===> Intangible 2 <===
You must BELIEVE that it is possible. If you don't believe that it's POSSIBLE for you to make money with affiliate programs or make your living on the Internet, you won't. It's that simple. For me, figuring out that it was possible was just a matter of realizing that many other people were ALREADY making great money online. If they could do it, I could too. It would just be a matter of figuring out what those people were doing and then adapting it to my situation. There is no shortage of undeniable PROOF that people (millions of them) are making money online with affiliate programs. Just get online and do some research and you'll find countless testimonials and stories of REAL PEOPLE making real money on the Internet. Or head to your local bookstore and you'll find the same documented evidence of this fact. Truth is, it's getting easier and easier to make money online with affiliate programs. I've always said that "affiliate marketing" is the job of the future. In the "old" days, you had to go to a potential employer, apply for the position and hope for the best. Now you can simply go to any company you want, fill out their affiliate application and start work immediately. Affiliates are the new working class. Believe me, making money with affiliate programs or making your living on the Internet is WAY MORE than possible. It is pretty much (or will be soon enough) unavoidable now. Affiliate marketing is the "job" of the future that's already here TODAY.
===> Intangible 3 <===
You must be willing to MAKE THE LEAP.
Ready, FIRE, then aim... This is the operating philosophy
you MUST adopt to succeed with affiliate marketing.
That's backwards for most people who like to aim before
they fire. The fact is the Internet is a moving target...
The only thing constant about it is change. You need to stop
analyzing the game and simply jump into it. You can't learn
from the outside... You have to be IN THE RING to truly
understand it.
The lesson here is that you will never really be READY to
start an affiliate marketing business. You simply have to
start one. This is what I call "Making the Leap."
The good news is that the cost of failure on the Internet is
very small. In the "brick and mortar" world you need to
evaluate things very carefully before you decide to open up
a business. It's almost always necessary to invest
thousands of dollars to get an offline business off the
ground. However, on the Internet you can often start a
successful business for less than $100. The Plug-In Profit
Site is a great example of this as you can see here:
Plug-In Profit Site
You simply need get IN THE GAME... Each moment that you stay
"out there," you're wasting valuable time that you could
be learning and skills necessary to become a successful
affiliate marketer. In fact, if you're not in the game yet,
you're ALREADY behind the times. Make the leap to becoming
a successful affiliate marketer today!
Stone Evans, The Home Biz Guy helps ordinary people all over
the world make money online with affiliate programs. If you

Five Proven Methods for Internet Marketing Success
Copyright © Michael Saunders
http://www.Work-At-Home-Business-Index.com
There are hundreds of ways that you can promote your
online business or website, some more effective than
others. These five proven methods will help you to
generate traffic to your site and also to generate
income into your wallet.
1. One thing that appeals to everyone is “free.” If
it is free people will take it. Think of the samples
of cheese given away at grocery stores. Do you really
want a small piece of cheese? Of course not! But you
take it simply because it is free and someone is nice
enough to offer it to you. The same principle applies
with information or services offered from your
website. You can send out free newsletters or offer a
free trail period. One popular thing that is being
given away now are free credit reports or free PC
scans. These freebies are what we in the marketing
field like to call teasers. After running the free
credit report or PC scan we alert the customer if
there is something found on their credit record or PC
and then offer to show them what it is or repair the
problem for a price. This can be an effective way to
get information to your potential customers, create
sales or to generate traffic to your site.
2. Your website contains information about a service
or product that you are very knowledgeable about. You
can use this knowledge to generate traffic to your
site by writing articles in your area of expertise and
having them published in an ezine or an article
information site. The most effective way to use these
articles is to write them for free and ask in return
that the publisher allow you to include a byline. A
byline is a very short summary of the author, their
credentials and their website. Your byline is a way
that readers will come to know you as an expert on the
topic and will in turn come to trust your site as a
source of credible information.
3. Some search engines will allow a website to
purchase their ranking. This is an excellent Internet
marketing technique in that it is effective and
inexpensive. In the pay-per-click programs, website
are only billed for those who actually visit the page,
unlike banner ads which may be seen by millions but
only used by a few. When using the pay-per-click
program you are asked to choose keywords and when
those are entered your site will appear and if the
surfer chooses to view your site, you are billed for
that click. Many pay-per-click programs will offer
other benefits as well, such as updated lists of
commonly used keywords.
4. You should remember that others are in the same
boat as you. You can choose to network with those who
have similar marketing ideas. When networking you
will be able to share links and refer customers to
each other. You should always be very cautious when
choosing a networking partner as everything that you
recommend is a reflection of yourself or your product
and therefore, you should be certain that your
networking partner is a reputable source of
information.
5. Simply because your website is online, doesn’t
mean that all your advertising should be. Advertise
in newspapers, TV, the radio or you can even send out
a press release to get your information to thousands
of people all over the country.

5. Simply because your website is online, doesn’t
mean that all your advertising should be. Advertise
